EASTER WEEKEND!

So I can't for the life of me figure out how to type up at the beginning, so we are just going to write at the end :) Easter weekend was a blast. The first year without family, Easter egg hunts, Easter baskets, and Easter dinner, but it was first Easter that I realized the true meaning of it. He lives because he was resurrected. Bre and I gave talks in the Sunset Ward and Bre spoke on the resurrection and I spoke on having a personal relationship with the Savior. In Sunday school we watched this clip also on Easter and it was amazing. We had Kailie over for dinner. Bre and I wanted ham and so we went to the store to look for ham. We got this little ham, but as we were walking away we saw this huge ham! We dont know why but we thought it was hilarious. Look at the difference! :) We had a green salad with it and some potatoes. After dinner and the fireside we made Gluten-Free brownies and had Jason Johnson over. Ended the night off with Harry Potter!
He lives and I know that He is aware of my needs! He helps me every day!

Clark Country Fair and Rodeo

We went to the Clark Country Fair this last weekend and it was a blast! It was in Logandale, Nevada this is where our roommate Mandy lives and so we were super excited to see where she lived and attend the fair. We went to the rodeo that was there and that was okay. Can I tell you what I learned though. Is that everywhere I looked I felt like everyone was smoking, drinking, the girls were very immodest and the guys were tattooed. And this is what I learned: I will be the light of the world for my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I will be their disciple.  I am not sure if this completely makes sense, but my testimony grew of this Gospel. On Pinterest I pinned a quote that says " Don't Shine so others can see you. Shine so that, through you others can see HIM." I guess that is what I am trying to say that I learned. I want them to see me and see HIM.

2 A.M...not such a good idea :)

Yep, these are the faces you get from staying up till 2 a.m talking and laughing our butts off.
My hair and Bre's hair is a little (okay a lot) wack! I had to put these on here because that night was pretty much one of the funniest nights. I had to wake up at 750 and I knew I was going to hecka tired, but seriously did not care because we were laughing and talking and I love those times!

Bre's Birthday

Bre's birthday was on March 29th and it was a blast! During the day we just kind of took it easy. We went to the "hall mall" here and shopped. Bre found some cute capris. After that we went to The Pasta Factory for dinner. We sat out on the patio, it was the perfect weather for it. Bre got a free desert, but of course she couldn't have it because she is gluten intolerant. So Rye and I ate it for her! Kind of funny, right? She just sat at watched us :) It was the Relief Society Broadcast that night and so we went to that for a little bit, even though we got the times mixed up. After that I had planned for all of her friends to meet at her favorite ice cream place-Dairy Queen to eat and chat and just have fun. This was a suppose to be a surprise. Bre and I went to Smith to pick up a prescription when we got back Rye was behind the door with the lights shut off and was waiting to blind fold her so that we could surprise her. Hence the pictures! It was a super fun day and glad I was able to plan this little surprise for her!

I have to be cheesy and just tell her how happy I am to have her as my sister. I don't know what I would do without her. Our late night laughs and talks. Talks about work, school, boys, the gospel, and what had happened that day. Sitting at Chick Fil A and Kneaders and talking for hours. Watching Larkrise to Candleford and wishing Daniel would come and take us out and me totally relating to Minnie and Alfie. Laughing so hard that we were crying. All of our many SWIG runs. We love our dirty dr.peppers. And I cant forget our E.R. visit. And meeting some amazing friends down here! Sissy, I love you to the moon and back. Thanks for making this year at Dixie State University such an amazing experience. I don't know know where life will take us, but seriously know this that I love you SOOOO much. You are such a example to me. Your testimony that radiates from you is truly something I aspire to have one day! Thanks for seriously being MY PARTNER IN CRIME! (you do know what that means right? :))   I love you PLEASE never forget that!

DIXIE LIFE :)

This is my favorite picture EVER!! Can you spot our little friend in the back?? :) HAHA! I couldn't stop laughing when I noticed him!

Dixie Baseball game!

Spring Break

I have to apologize for how awful I am at posting things. College life gets busy!
But this is super late, but we went home for Spring Break! It was so refreashing to be home. As Bre and I liked to say, " It was good to recharge out batteries."
Spring Break was anything spectacular other then sleeping in, eating homemade food, Bre cutting her hair, I (beth) put more blonde in my hair (not that I need any more of that! haha), watched Lark Rise to Candleford, and seriously was just lazy! It was so fun!

We for a bike ride, super fun! We got rained on! It was pretty much freezing.

We got our nails done with mum!

Brandon's soccer games! We love to take pictures as you can see!
