Atonement Lesson

 

Last Sunday, we had a lesson on the Atonement. I always believed the Atonement was for people that sinned. This is not true. It is truly for everybody. We can give him our burdens and trails to him and he truly knows what we are feeling, it is how he knows how to succor us. This is how he truly is our advocate with the Father. I thought of Bre's E.R. visit because of the atonement of Jesus Christ I was able to give him my burdens and trails. He knew how I was feeling. What comfort this was to me. 

The teacher asked the question: How can we use this knowledge (the atonement) to know the infinite love He has for us?

I have many insecurities and find myself picking myself apart much to often then I probably should. If I truly knew the love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ has for me I would not struggle with these kind of things. He died for me, why in the world should I struggle with worldly matters like this.  He truly does have INFINITE love for me.

The Savior lives and this gospel is true. He does sees me as terms of forever. 

Dad and Mom's visit- SO FUN!

Mom and dad came down the weekend of Valentine's day. It was so fun! I skipped my classes on Friday and we went to the Catching Fire because mom had not seen it yet. After which we went to our favorite place-Chick Fil-A! Bre and I both had to work, so after we had our fun Valentines Day we went and worked! Luckily we did not have to close and we got off at 930ish. We should have been off sooner but we have a very stupid manager. Anyways we love when mom and dad come down and visit!

Olive Garden!

After this crazy week, Bre decided that we needed to celebrate her feeling a little bit better. Olive Garden has gluten-free pasta, and so we went and had as we like to call it END OF CRAZY WEEK DINNER! It was delicious and definitely needed!
